Have you helped build Allyship your organization? If so, we’d like to hear from you.
Allyship is defined as “being aware of, and using, one’s advantaged position to actively support and include people in less advantaged positions.” If you have worked on implementing an Allyship initiative at your company or organization, and are available for a 60-minute research interview, we would love to hear from you!
Please email us and we will be in touch!
What are we trying to learn?
In a 2019 survey by Deloitte, 92% of participants reported that they saw themselves as allies in the workplace, but a recent poll we conducted revealed that only 21% actually know how to act upon Allyship.
Increasingly, organizations are utilizing the concept of Allyship to further promote a more equitable and inclusive culture. Goldman Sachs, a decade-long supporter of Allyship for various communities, is known for its strong inclusion networks and annual recognition programs. Abercrombie and Fitch’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy includes Associate Resource Groups specifically stressing Allies, and one of Yahoo’s #YahooAllyshipPledge is designed to help business, nonprofit, and cultural leaders enable a better future.
With this research project, we want to learn more about ways in which other organizations make Allyship a daily reality. We also seek to discover how processes, systems and beliefs about Allyship become embedded in the workplace.
Your participation in this research project will be deeply appreciated, and sharing your experiences will inform others who are embarking on a similar journey. It is also an opportunity to showcase progressive human capital practices for your organization, serving recruiting, branding, and other business objectives.
As a thank you for your time and effort, you will receive an exclusive report of our findings when available.
We look forward to hearing from you!
