The available and ongoing research in the field of Neuroscience has conclusively established the fact that all actions and consequent results are a manifestation of thinking, which is an important function of the brain. As such any event or communication that triggers the threat (physical, social/ emotional) response in the brain impacts adversely it’s receptivity to instructions/ suggestions or new ideas.
As such the brain based approach/ intervention leverages this scientific understanding to embed appropriate learning’s in leaders/ managers that contribute to enhanced leadership effectiveness by assisting individuals generate insights within using a process driven and goal focused approach.

The common understandings for each of the terms are as under:
Mentoring: A mentor tends to focus on career development (especially younger colleagues), shares experiences and gives advice to secure professional growth for the mentee.
Counseling: Counseling is the provision of professional assistance and guidance in resolving personal and/ or psychological concerns.
Training: Training is teaching or developing in oneself or others any skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies.
